I was born and raised in Colerain Township in Hamilton County, Ohio and graduated form Colerain High School in 1987. I joined the Army Reserve after graduation and served while attending the University of Cincinnati. I Graduated from UC in 1992 with a degree in Criminal Justice. I was received an honorable discharge from the Army in 1995. I married my wife, Jeannie, in 1992 and have two sons, Alex and Aaron.

I have been in law enforcement since May of 1993 when I entered the Ohio Highway Patrol Academy. I was commissioned as a Trooper in November of 1993 and worked for the Ohio Highway Patrol until February of 2007. During my time with the highway patrol, I developed an interest in crash investigation and reconstruction. I was investigating approximately 200 crashes a year with the highway patrol. In May of 1998, I attended the Ohio Highway Patrol's Technical Crash Investigator Course. This is an in-depth crash investigation course focusing on scene diagramming and evidence evaluation and recording. I then became involved in almost every fatal crash my post investigated, trying to learn all I could.

After a particularly horrific crash I investigated in 2001, I decided to pursue training in crash reconstruction. I attended a two week course in Indianapolis, Indiana, put on by the Institute for Police Technology and Management (IPTM) at the University of North Florida in 2002. I then tested for, and became involved in the Ohio Highway Patrol, Crash Reconstruction Program. Over the next several years, I attended other crash reconstruction training classes put on by IPTM, OSHP, as well as other police departments and agencies.

During my time with the Ohio Highway Patrol, Crash Reconstruction Program, I was trained in the use of the Leica Total Station and Mapscenes CAD program. I was asked to serve as a guest instructor at the training academy and became involved in every fatal, and most serious injury crashes, my post investigated. I was called on to travel to other posts to assist in investigations of serious injury and fatal crashes. I also helped other police agencies with crash investigations they were conducting. I completed over 100 crash reconstructions in my four years as a crash reconstructionist for the Ohio Highway Patrol.

I have been qualified as an expert witness in Warren County Common Pleas, Juvenile and all Warren County Municipal Courts. I am a member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS) and the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).

I left the Ohio Highway Patrol in February, 2007 and became a member of the Mason, Ohio Police Department. One reason for the move was to start Bryant Accident Reconstruction Consulting. I want to provide professional, high quality accident reconstruction services for those in need of those services. I have the experience of being the lead investigator, or technical expert in over 2,500 crashes during my career in law enforcement.
